Victorian Virtual Reality: Photographs from the Brian May Archive of Stereoscopy, held by Watts Gallery, Compton, UK, will present highlights from the Brian May Archive of Stereoscopy to explore the 19th-century photography craze that, for the first time, enabled pictures to appear in 3D.

The latest book I have written, “L’Emp’reur, sa femme, le p’tit Prince” : The Imperial Family of France, Photography and the Stereoscope, is about the special relationship that existed between Napoleon III, the Empress Eugénie, their son and photography, including stereoscopic photography. It will be released in May 2023 but can be pre-ordered at a discount.

An acclaimed 3-D expert, he has received numerous awards for his artistic works and technical inventions.
