We welcome back to the Stereoscopy Blog photo historian Denis Pellerin. In this post he devotes his incredible and thorough research to French provision merchant and publisher of stereoscopic postcards Julien Damoy. Despite his stereoscopic postcards being well known, very little was previously understood about the publisher himself. Denis has once again dug deep in his research (and spent a fortune on postcards!) to rediscover Damoy.
I'm really happy to welcome to the Stereoscopy Blog Sroyon Mukherjee, a talented amateur photographer from India. I thought I'd make a post about the different ways to make stereoviews with a single lens. You don't need specialist equipment to take 3D photos, you can use almost any camera!

Along the way you will discover some long-forgotten celebrations and how a tiny piece of paper revolutionised the lives of millions and did a lot to help commercialise some of these events.
A new free online 3-D event has been announced to celebrate the anniversaries of the births of Robert Burns and Charles Wheatstone, on Saturday 29th January 2022 at 17:30 GMT.
