I'm very fortunate to welcome to the Stereoscopy Blog photo historian, independent lecturer, author and collector of wonderful stereoscopic images, Dr. Peter Blair. In his first post, he will introduce you to the world of sales and advertising in stereoscopy, through an incredible set of unusual Verascope slides in his collection.
I thought I'd put together a list of quick pointers for taking better stereos. It's not exhaustive, but hopefully it's enough to get you started.
The Royal Holloway, University of London, Student Union's Photography Society are holding a free workshop about how to take stereoscopic (3D) images with film and digital cameras. Attendees will be shown a variety of different ways to make their own stereoscopic images, using different cameras and techniques.
