DIAL ‘M’ FOR MURDER: A 3-D Masterpiece Hardly Anyone Saw in Relief, by Denis Pellerin

To celebrate a long bank holiday weekend here in the UK, photo historian Denis Pellerin is once again treating us to his incredible research with an article about Alfred Hitchcock’s 1954 thriller film Dial M for Murder, as we approach its 70th anniversary. Denis explores the original play it was based upon, its various productions, and Hitchcock’s film in depth (pun intended), investigating why few people saw the film in 3-D at the time of its release.

Please find the free PDF booklet below (approx. 300MB to download, but it can also be viewed directly through the website on desktops, or click the left link on phones to view it in a new window):

I’d like to send Denis a huge thank you for sharing this fascinating piece, and wish everyone reading it a wonderful and peaceful Easter break.
